Military History Follows
History was made on Wednesday evening when I was sworn into Army as a 1Lt. The recruiter that went to levels he had never gone before to get me into military gave a history on commissioning of officers and what part non-commissioned officers play in it. I gave him a silver dollar to represent what officers would do hundreds of years ago to receive the services of an NCO. The NCO would then salute the officer and they would work together. This tradition is still celebrated today. That is one thing I really love about military is tradition, history, honor, etc..So what does all this mean to me: It means honor the soldiers whenever possible because they all are willing to DIE to serve you.
